How we write

TechRanking publishes articles that an AI model writes from reports by other publishers. Every article is checked automatically before it goes online, and says at the top that it was written with AI.

Sources

Each article draws on reporting by at least two independent publishers, or on a single source that publishes for reuse, such as a press release or an official announcement. Every article lists and links the sources it uses. We use the facts from these reports, never their wording, apart from short attributed quotes.

Use of artificial intelligence

An AI language model writes the articles from the source reports, following our editorial rules.

Once a month we publish an analysis of the month's most-covered stories, with our own assessment in the section "Our view". It too is written with AI from its sources, passes the same checks and is published only after an editor approves it. It does not rank or recommend companies.

An editor reviews articles after publication; articles they have reviewed say so.

Editorial responsibility for the articles: Konstantinos Perros, who corrects or withdraws any article that needs it.

Checks before publication

Automated checks confirm that each article is in the right language and length, does not copy wording from its sources, quotes them word for word, uses only figures that appear in the sources and links sources that work. An AI fact check then compares every claim with the sources. An article that fails is rewritten up to twice or not published.

Corrections and removals

When a source withdraws its report, we take the article down. To report an error, write to corrections@techranking.gr.

Ownership

Who publishes TechRanking is stated on the About page.

Rarely, an article mentions a service affiliated with the publisher, in one sentence and only when the story is about what it does. Such articles say so in a "From the publisher" note and are published only after an editor approves them. We report on companies that offer similar services as we would on any other company.
